Sands opened up as The Brighton on August 31st 1980 at Indiana Ave. at Indiana Avenue & Brighton Park. Atlantic City, NJ 08401 . A year later was bought and renamed Sands in 1981. Sands Closed on November 11th 2006 after Pinnacle Entertainment bought them. Frank Sinatra made sands famous. He was a regular there and brought in his friends and that attracted a big crowd. Can't wait to see what goes up next! Pinnacle is spending 2 Billion on a new Hotel and casino with shopping.
